Recreation: Opening Day info

Hello,

We are excited to kick off the Metuchen Soccer Club Recreation season tomorrow morning at St Joseph High School. 

Please see some important information below. 
  1. Welcome: Members from the Metuchen Soccer Board and parent volunteers will be available to assist you tomorrow morning starting at 8:45am at the Opening Day welcome table at St Joesph High School.
  2. General Game Timings:
    • Mini Meggers: 10:15am - 11:15am
    • Kinder Cruffys: 9:00am - 10:00am
    • Maradona (Boys/Girls): 9:00am - 10:00am or 10:15am - 11:15am
  3. Team Info: Please make sure that you have the latest team info and field playing locations by visiting the Team Central: Team Director & Posted Schedules pages.
    • Download the GameChanger app and login using your Metuchen Soccer Club email address. 
    • From the Home screen select "+" and then choose "Import Sports Connect" to add your GameChanger account. 
    • This will allow you to easily see team updates and allow you to communicate with fellow team members. 
  4. Location and Parking: Please see the below important information and the google map link to the field locations.
    • Field Location: The fields are located about 5-10 minutes walking distance from the parking lot. The first playing field will be for the Mini Meggers & Kinder Cruffys and then the fields for the Maradonas.
    • Parking: Park in the lot behind Saint Joseph High School's main campus building as indicated in the map here. Do not park in the parking lot next to the football field.
    • Handicap Parking: Parents, guardians, family members etc, who can not walk a substantial distance, may bring their vehicles SLOWLY down the walking/gravel track to the soccer fields and park in the area indicated on the map.
    • Chairs / Cooler etc: You may bring chairs/coolers onto the field. However, they will need to be carried/rolled over from the parking lot to the playing fields.
  5. Soccer Jerseys: Most of your team coaches and volunteers picked up team jerseys and game ball during the week, and they will hand those out before the game. All Mini Megger kids will get there jerseys handed out tomorrow as well. 
    • Please review this page for previously provided program information and details on required attire etc etc.
If you have any other question or need assistance, we will be at the fields starting tomorrow morning between 8:45am - 11:30am, and will be more than happy to assist you.
